What do you think of when you hear the word ‘beer’? Messy nights? Sunday sessions? The winning of grand slams of a Saturday. A flat, urine-esque type large drink. Pizza? Men with rather large bellies?Well, the Irish Brewers association is launching a new campaign aimed at revitalising the image of the pint. Today, we spoke to master beer sommelier Marc Stroobandt who’s attempted to get us drunk, by appreciating the true taste and nature of beer!
We sampled beer with cheese, crackers and even some deserts, along with trying Guinness with chocolate!
