BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders
Licensing law in England and Wales states anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence. In order to apply for a personal licence from your local licensing authority you MUST hold a licensing qualification such as the BIIAB NCPLH.
Recommended for Owners, Tenants, Managers, Supervisors and anyone responsible for authorising alcohol sales.
BIIAB Award in Beer and Cellar Quality (ABCQ)
The BIIAB ABCQ is an award designed to help candidates ensure that their beer is consistently served in an optimum condition - which aims to increase sales and decrease wastage.
Recommended for those required to handle and care for cask and/or keg beers - as well as anyone required to maintain a safe and hygienic cellar. The F&B Partnership offer additional modules on How to taste and appreciate beer, how to serve beer perfectly and ensure maximum yield.
BIIAB Level 1 Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing
This qualification provides candidates with the essential knowledge of their responsibilities as alcohol retailers authorised by a personal licence holder to sell alcohol. Those who complete this award will be confident of acting within the law and supporting the designated premises supervisor to sell alcohol responsibly.
Recommended for bar supervisors, bar staff and till operators.
BIIAB Level 2 National Certificate for Designated Premises Supervisors
This award has been developed in conjunction with local government, the police and the licensed retail industry to support the new role of Designated Premises Supervisor created by the Licensing Act 2003.It provided the DPS with an understanding of their role and responsibilities within the Licensing Act 2003, but also other regulatory issues. This qualification also addresses practical day to day issues involved in running licensed premises.
Recommended for all existing and potential Designated Premises Supervisors.
BIIAB Level 1 Essentials of Catering Award
This qualification provides information and practical advice about the fundamental activities, processes and procedures needed by anyone new to working in a commercial kitchen environment. It is designed to complement other induction and essential training such as health & safety, food hygiene and HACCP.
Recommended for anyone new to working in any location where food is prepared and served.
