F&B Driving Sales and Profit through ABC of Beer Appreciation

Aims:

This course is designed to enable the successful candidate to enhance their beer knowledge and their standards of beer service. They will learn how to use this knowledge to increase sales and profit.

 

Suitable for front of house Bar Staff, Bar Managers and Bar Supervisors who work in businesses that are predominantly food led. This course is also ideal for Account Managers, Account Directors, Brewer Sales Personnel, or anyone else involved in the sale of beer, either wholesale or retail.

Content:

This is a fully interactive course which aims to enable the candidate to:

  • Increase sales and profits by improving a customers' drinking and dining experience
  • Develop a knowledgeable, motivated sales team
  • Ensure staff are skilled in delivering an optimum beer experience
  • Build a teams’ knowledge in:
    • Technical product knowledge - what is beer?
    • How to handle, store and serve beer correctly – improving yield and eradicating wastage
    • Sensory appreciation - how to taste
    • How to pair beer with food - the basics
    • Beer service that sells – getting your staff to sell rather than ‘take orders’
